I havent't yet seen this film but the atmospheric music by Stephen Warbeck (Captain Corelli's Mandolin) definitely makes you sit up and take notice. Basically the movie revolves around the lives of two tigers who are supposed to be brothers and their interaction with humans.
Warbeck has produced a lush, emotionally tinged score, rather reminiscent of his previous contributions with a bold main theme that really has the hairs standing on the edge of the head! The film is also about human interaction with animal and Warbeck marries that touch quite quixotically and magically at the same time.
I found the CD an excellent listen through and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys soundtracks such as 'Pearl Harbor', 'Chocolat' and other similarly heroic films.
