Michael Nyman's music has been immortalized by his score for "The Piano" which still remains one of the most haunting succession of melodies to this day. There's obviously quite a lot from that film in Bashmet's selection but other pieces from films such as "The Diary of Anne Frank", "Wonderland" and "Enemy Zero" are definitely not to be overlooked especially the final score which has some hugely interesting music in it. Nyman buffs will already have most of these works but for the newcomer this compilation is more than recommendable.
