This CD had made quite a few sounds when it was first issued in 1993 so it is good to have it on a budget after about 12 years. Linley is truly inspired by Shakespeare's music and the result is a fully blow ode of epic proportions rather similar to Boyce and Purcell's creations.

The music is angelically played by the expert Parley of Instruments and the soloists are, as expected, top notch in every department. Paul Nicholson and Peter Holman hold all together with expert direction and I really cannot recommend this issue too highly, especially if you missed out on it first time round.
