Another of this wonderful bargain price reissues features the inspired concerto music of Thomas Arne who is best known for his stirring 'Rule Britainnia'. These concertos for harpsichord, organ and piano are full of lovely touches with a wealth of melodies abounding in every department.

You would expect the outstanding Parley of Instruments to enjoy proceedings and the result is a disc that one may listen to at one stretch without any qualms. The recording is fine, if a little spotlighted on the solo instruments but otherwise, another unhesitating recommendation from me at this incredible price.
